Criss Cross Card

Hi there, here’s a criss cross card I did earlier.bev-rochester-sugar-nellie-nitwits-beyoutiful

A closer look at the delish flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used a Bead Flower, cottage rose, lilies and open roses in 20mm 10mm and 15mm.  I also made some little flowers using metal bead caps and glued a 12mm flat backed pearl in the centre.  I trimmed the bottom of the card with organza rose trimming.

Girly baby gift box

Hello everybody!

It's been a long time since I have posted something on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog. Due to personal circumstances I have taken a break from crafting. I'm back though and I'd like to show you one of my latest makes, a gift box for a little baby girl named Tessa with lots of gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts products on it.

The adorable image I worked with is by an artist named Lee Holland who I found on Etsy. As always the image was colored with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced. The image can of course be used for a project for both a girl or a boy so I went a little crazy with all these gorgeous pink and white flowers to make this project extremely girly.

The Wild Orchid Crafts materials I used are:

Petal

I’m sharing a card today using the most delicious colours, colours I would not have put together if it wasn’t for the papers.  I make my cards by deciding on the papers first then pull everything together from there.

Flowers and rhinestones are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used a 40mm tea rose, 25mm wild rose, sweetheart blossoms, open roses (15mm), miniature gardenia flowers

Treasured Times

Hello there dear friends! It's Sheri and I'm here today to share with you my last project as a Wild Orchid Crafts DT member. There will be a new crop of amazing DT members and they are sure to amaze and inspire us all!  So stay tuned! P1070390
I found this sweet little journal at my local craft store and used stencils, embossing paste and glittered dragonflies on the top of the journal to joosh it up a bit.
Next, I colored this darling, sweet image, Friends Forever from Lili of the Valley. These fairies are so sweet and delicate…I just LOVE them!!

My frame was cut on my cameo using the my very favorite Timeless Victorian papers. I also rolled up a bit of paper to tuck into the pen, so it would match too.

The sentiment is from the Simply Sophisticated set.  As I’ve said before, this is such a versatile set…I find myself using it all the time. Smile

All good things must come to an end...

All good things must come to an end, thats the saying right? In three lovely and fun years I've been a designer for Wild Orchid Crafts. I have had such fine colleagues and Paul & Siri, who owns the company, has been extremely generous to me.

Now the winds blowing in another direction and it's time for me to leave the ship for new adventures. I want to thank Paul & Siri who gave me renewed mandate from the short six months to three long years, it has been an honor! Here's a picture cavalcade of things that I have created in their name and with their gorgeous flowers.

I quote Jim Morrison and take a farewell of Wild Orchid Crafts:

This is the end
